For class this week you will need a few ingredients that you can quickly find online:

1.  Sine wave ( you will need to know the frequency, Hz of the waves wave or the note it sounds, C3 for example).
2. Square wave
3. White noise

To make sure the assignment is custom fit to your interests.  You will want to find, record or otherwise produce a sustaining tone that you will analyze.    The tone can come from most any source, but it music be able to be sustained without it changing over time.    For example, someone singing WhaWhaWha repeatedly has changes in the sound over time vs someone singing EEEEEE.

Please have the ingredients and sustained tone ready at the start of  class,  the sounds can be on your flashdrive, your computers, or you can even send yourselves links to download just before class starts.
